As part of their literacy enrichment, Years 3, 4 and 5 were treated to an extra special workshop at the Centre for Magic Arts where world renowned magicians hone their craft. Pupils learnt some magic tricks, visited the history of magic museum, were treated to a mind bending magic show and had an exclusive chat with the president of the magic circle. A wonderful day was had by all! 🪄

Congratulations to Year 5 pupils who won the Love Languages competition at City of London Freeman’s School. Our play which was written and staged by the children during their French Drama lessons and featured French, Spanish, Greek, Dutch and German. Thank you to Miss Traoré and Mr Ellen who directed the performances. 🇫🇷🎭

One of our lucky pupils had the opportunity to be headmistress of Norland for the day! She enjoyed leading assembly, opening our charity cake sale, inspecting the school, teaching French lessons, looking at pupil work and writing our weekly circular! 👩🏻‍🏫

In science this week Year 5 have used their knowledge of separating mixtures to help them solve a real world problem. Pupils were set the task of cleaning up ‘contaminated’ water using the most effective methods. 🧑🏻‍🔬
