Norland Place is a long-established, non-selective, co-educational, non-denominational preparatory school that aims to develop to the full the potential of each and every pupil.  Rooted in the local community, we provide a supporting and caring environment for our children that values individuality yet sets the highest of expectations in all areas.

An academic school at heart, we also aim to provide opportunities for children to develop in all areas through a broad and balanced curriculum.  We treat children as individuals and encourage and celebrate the diverse range of talents and interests that they have.  Standards of discipline throughout the school are very high and are based on a mutual understanding between teachers and children, which has long been a tradition of the school.  We encourage independence of thought and raise our children to be critical thinkers, equipped for the years ahead.

We see successful education as a partnership between the school, children and parents, and to this end we foster the cooperative links between school and home that are essential for our happy and motivational environment.

It is our aim that children leaving Norland Place should have a strong academic foundation and be equipped with the confidence, independence and self-esteem that will enable them to engage positively and productively with the opportunities and challenges they will encounter as they grow up.
